The Division of Public Health works in cooperation with a variety of local, state, and federal agencies to improve the well-being of St. Charles County residents each year. From generating vital records, such as birth and death certificates, to treating or preventing illness and injury in everyone from unborn babies to older adults, the department staff addresses a wide range of public health issues.

In St. Charles County, the Division of Public Health encompasses seven programs:

Vital Records – distribution of certified birth or death certificates for Missouri residents or for those who were born or who died within the state

Immunization Clinic for children and adults 

WIC – a nutrition education and supplemental food service for women, infants and children 

Sexually Transmitted Disease testing, treatment and prevention education

Communicable Disease reporting and investigation

Health Education programming for children and adults

Public Health Preparedness and Bioterrorism planning and response
